In addition to the top performers and stock boosters, these players all had themselves impressive weekends.

Maliq Crawford – Cream City Chosen – G
Crawford is a quick guard that is at his best going downhill attacking the basket. Uses a quick first step to beat his defender often and score it around the paint as well as pulling up in the mid-range. Tough pressure defender that forced a few turnovers and was constantly disrupting the oppositions offense.

Gavyn Hurley – Wisconsin Swing Bredesen – G
A 6’3” guard with a good all-around game that was doing a bit of everything for his team. Hurley is a good versatile defender. High IQ guard that is a good decision maker with the ball in his hands. Able to score the ball in a variety of ways without forcing anything; perimeter jumpers, cutting or driving, and in transition.

Donovan McDonald – UTS Elite – F
A 2023 6’6” power forward with a solid frame that showed good promise and performed well in the paint on both ends. He has some good moves on the block in addition to having soft touch. McDonald is a tough and active defender on the inside who was blocking and altering plenty of shots. A name to track moving forward.

Stephen Teasley – REACH Legends – G
Teasley continues to show more and more of his skills. This past weekend he impressed the most with his ability of the dribble. The lengthy 6’4” wing guard did a great job of attacking the basket to distribute. While he drew much of the defenses attention on his drives, the skilled sophomore was very unselfish and dished out the ball well. On the other end, he is a tough defender with his length and quickness.

Prentice Young Jr. – TH 2023 – G
Skilled playmaking 6’3” point guard that can do so much with the ball in his hands. Strong handle and maneuvers easily around defenders getting inside the defense often. He is always scanning the floor looking to kick it out to open teammates on the wings. Young scores it himself around the paint and the mid-range.
