Wisconsin-Milwaukee and new head coach Bart Lundy landed a commitment from one of most skilled scorers left available in the Midwest’s 2022 recruitment class in Zach Howell. The 6’5” two guard of Springfield Catholic High School (MO) and Yanders Law program announced his commitment to the Panthers over the weekend.

The commitment comes after Howell just took a visit to Milwaukee this past weekend. On the visit the senior received his scholarship offer from the Panthers coaching staff. “Visit was very cool. They let me see a vision for what UW Milwaukee could be in the next couple of years,” Howell said about his very eventful trip.

There are multiple aspects of Milwaukee that won over Howell. The first thing he mentioned about what he liked about them was the coaches. “I love the coaching staff and we share similar goals. Coach Lundy has a great resume, and he plans to have the same winning goals at UW Milwaukee.” Another aspect Howell likes about his future school is their campus as well as their facilities.

“I see myself fitting in because I am a hardworking person and I love to compete. I am excited for the first day of practice,” Howell said for his future in a Panthers jersey.
