The 2018 Swish N’ Dish continued to light up the hardwood in Wisconsin on Saturday as multiple top 100 national prospects at various age groups stepped onto the stage and delivered high caliber performances.  Here’s a quick look at a few that stood out on day 2 in the Badger state…

Top Performers
Markese Jacobs 2019 – Mac Irvin Fire EYBL 17U
– The Kansas commit was a walking highlight reel all day long.  Jacobs finished with a team high 20 points in Mac Irvin's win over SYF Players to help lock Mac Irvin's elite 8 birth.  Scoring from all three levels Jacobs was knocking down outside shots, finishing strong through contact, and throwing down some of the most impressive dunks all day.  Jacobs insured that he is one of the most explosive 2019 prospects here this weekend.

Jalen Johnson 2020 – Phenom 16U – Johnson was outstanding for the Phenoms leading them to two big wins and an elite 8 birth with his two 14-point performances.  Johnson was scoring the ball in all different fashions including an east bay dunk that had the whole gym buzzing.  The 6-7 point forward continued to do what he does best and that is making players around him play at high level.  The top ranked 2020 prospect in the state has been showing why he holds that number 1 spot all weekend long.

Lorne Bowman 2020 – REACH Legends 17U – This young man was phenomenal all day averaging 20 points per game in all of REACH Legends wins.  Playing up an age level for the second grassroots season in a row Bowman continues to show that he belongs.  Knocking down deep outside shots, finishing at the rim, and getting his teammates involved the 6-2 guard was doing it all.

DJ Carton 2019 – Quad City Elite 17U – After throwing down the best dunk of the weekend Friday, Cartons name was defiantly buzzing around the gym.  With the extra attention on him Carton did nothing but impress whoever was watching.  Dropping 17 points and 7 assists in a winning effort against Full Package, Carton left everything he had on the floor in the next game finishing with 16 points in Quad City's tough lost.  Carton insured that he is one of the best 2019 prospects in the Midwest and a legitimate top 50 prospect.

Jalen Suggs 2020 – Grassroots Sizzle 17U – This talented 2020 prospect is a leader that is willing to do whatever it takes to lead his team to a victory.  A true floor general that was handling the ball well, making the right plays, and scoring in a variety of different and creative ways was showing why he is such a highly regarded prospect nationally.  After averaging a little over 20 points per game Suggs was finding ways to make sure he keeps his team alive in bracket play.

Alonzo Gaffney 2019 – All Ohio Red EYBL 17U – Gaffney has been impressive all weekend here showing a little bit of everything.  This young man is already very skilled but when you watch him you can tell there is still another level that he can bring his game too.  The long 6-8 forward was scoring in bunches finishing with 17 points in a win over Wisconsin Triple Threat.

Stock Boosters
Carrington McCaskill 2019 – REACH Legends 17U
– Although his scoring numbers weren't that great McCaskill was still excellent all day for REACH coming up big in their wins.  Scoring in the paint, getting up for put back dunks, cleaning the glass, and defensively he was protecting the rim as good as anyone this weekend.  Every time McCaskill is in the game he makes sure his presence is felt on both ends of the floor.  The long 6-7 forward will be making a college coach very happy in the near future.

Elliot Sieger 2020 – KL5AIA Elite 16U – Sieger was huge down the stretch in a close win over a good Yanders Law.  Making play after play during the last 8 minutes of the game Sieger was going to find a way to get a basket no matter what kind of defense was being thrown at him.  The 6-0 guard finished with a game high 23 points in a win to help advance his team to championship Sunday.

Carlos Ramsey 2019 – Milwaukee Spartans 17U – Ramsey has been buzzing all weekend after his 21 point performance against All Ohio Red EYBL 17u.  The 6-4 forward carried that play into Saturday and was putting together solid performances all day long including a game high 32 points against Ramey Jets United.  After trailing by more than 20 points, Ramsey scored 22 second half points to pull his Spartans 17u team within 3 points.  The left-handed wing is relentless and has potential to blow up this summer.

Ben Nau 2021 – Phenom University 15U – Nau is continuing to make a name for himself in Wisconsin's loaded 2021 class.  This young guard has everything you look for in a point guard; Great vision, handles, awareness, and leadership.  Nau had an off day shooting but was finding other ways to be productive with his passing and defense.  The young guard was still able to find ways to score including 10 second half points in a hard fought win over Kessel.

Khristian Lander 2021 – EG1O 15U – This young guard is one of the more polished 2021 prospects I've seen this weekend.  Landers is a great ball handler, a good shooter, and is always making the right decision when it matters which is rare for the 15u level.  If he continues to play this well for the next 6 months or so he has potential to possibly blow up as a prospect.

Mar'Keise Irving 2021 – Team Rose 15U – Irving had one of the best shooting performances I've seen all weekend.  He hit 8 overall threes including 5 straight in the last 4 minutes of the game to give his team a 15 point lead.  He was also finishing strong at the rim, blowing by his defenders, and making great passes.  Look for Irving to become a well-known name in the class of 2021.
