While he entered the spring as a bit of an unknown not having been in the country for long, it did not take much time for John Bol to fast track to a national level prospect. As a 7’3” tenth grader at Christian Brothers College High School in St. Louis, there is a lot to like about the future of his game.

This past year while playing with Brad Beal Elite, Bol quickly showed his tremendous upside. Even with his great height as well as his superior length, there is a lot more to like about his ability on the court. Bol is a mobile big man with good agility moving very well for his size. He plays with tremendous energy getting up and down the floor as well to battling on the defensive end. The sophomore is an active and aggressive paint defender that does not give up anything easy inside. Already a very good rim protector, he has all the tools to be an elite shot blocker. Offensively, Bol has a good ability to finish everything around the basket as his scoring ability continues to take large strides forward.

Even just from the spring, Bol’s game has significantly developed. At this point he holds offers from Butler, Clemson, Illinois, Kansas State, Missouri, and St. Louis. Even while having a few offers early in his sophomore year, Bol’s recruitment has still yet to take off. Look for the recruitment of Bol to soar as he has the upside to be a dominant big man at the high major level.
