A highly skilled two guard from the 2022 class that is still available out of Missouri is Zach Howell. After receiving a pair of offers last year while playing with Yanders Law, Howell remains uncommitted.

Southern Illinois Edwardsville became the first school to offer Howell last April. A couple months later in June, Texas Tech also offered him. When talking about these two schools, Howell said “Texas Tech has great facilities and has an awesome campus. I love the coaching staff at SIUE.”

Other programs also showing interest in Howell include South Dakota State and Tennessee Martin.

The game of Howell has continued to take great strides as he is averaging 24 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists during his senior season at Springfield Catholic High School. Even while playing a very tough schedule, they have been able to achieve a 14-4 record so far this season.

Howell is a high IQ guard that also has an exceptional skill set. He is a high percentage sharpshooter from the outside with great range but can also make plays off the dribble. He also has good size in the backcourt standing at 6’5”. The senior has continued to round out his scoring ability on his way to scoring his 1,500th point earlier this season in December.

The senior is looking to make his college commitment coming up in March. With a couple months still to go until then, look for more programs to get involved with Howell as he has plenty of tools that will translate well to the next level.
