First team, second team, and now honorable mention. With an incredible deep group this year at the 16U level of the NY2LA Association, there was a great deal of competition for each of these spots. Here is part one of the honorable mentions for this seasons 16U level.

Mason Carpenter – 2025 – PG – George Hill All Indy

One of a few talented 2025’s playing up on this George Hill All Indy 16U backcourt. Even at a young age, he showed great ability and a was big reason for the success of this team. Carpenter plays well with the ball running the point in addition to being a good shot maker and tough and energetic on ball defender. Following the season, Carpenter earned his first scholarship offer from IUPUI recently.

Brady Corso – 2024 – G – Wisconsin Blizzard

Corso was a huge piece for the Blizzard who captured the championship of the 16U Association to end the season. While he had plenty of great performances during the season, he led the way in the title game scoring 20 points while hitting five threes to capture the title. Much more than just a shooter however, he is a complete guard who knows how to play.

Davee Flowers – 2024 – G – Illinois Central Elite

Flowers was one of the top scorers throughout the season on the association, often scoring twenty plus points game after game with plenty of defensive attention on him. He is an elite scorer who got it done effectively on all three levels all year long. Look for Flowers to have a breakout junior season with all his tools.

Cohen George – 2025 – F/C – Yanders Law

As a 2025 big man, George showed off a lot of skills and upside. He is a lengthy 6’8” post who plays with tremendous energy to always make an impact while on the floor. The young big moves well for his size and has good feel. While he already had a strong season to make this list, his best basketball is ahead of him as George has plenty of upside.

Lebron Gough – 2025 – PG – George Hill All Indy

Over the past two seasons Gough has been one of the top point guards while playing for George Hill All Indy. A true floor general who showed great playmaking ability all season long with his ability to create for his teammates at a high level. Gough has excellent court vision, ability to get into the paint, finishes effectively, and defends the ball well.

Jaelyn Johnson – 2024 – F – 94 Feet Elite

Tournament after tournament, Johnson was one of the top forwards at the 16U level of the association. He is a highly impactful 6’7” forward with a lot of tools to his game. He did so much on both ends of the floor throughout the year for this 94 Feet Elite team. Johnson’s game continued to grow throughout the season with not only his play inside but also his perimeter ability hitting outside shots and making plays off the dribble.

Agape Keys – 2025 – G – Team Haliburton

Another 2025 guard who was a real standout playing up at the 16U level. Keys has an advanced skill set with his scoring ability. Not only a good playmaker off the dribble attacking the bucket but also spotting up from the outside. He continued to get better throughout the season and was a big piece of Team Haliburton 16U, especially during the summer.
