In this full day of the Spring Extravaganza on Saturday, it was an action-packed day of hoops. The day featured plenty of stars playing at their highest levels as well as many breakout players. Here is a sample of the day’s top performers.
Max Flanagan – 2026 – SG – All Area Basketball
In the last game of the night, Flanagan was worth the wait to see with a 26-point game for himself. He displayed an advanced skill set and feel for just a freshman. He scored it very effectively from all three levels as he has a smooth jumper off the catch and dribble from all over but can also get to the rim with ease. A freshman I look forward to seeing more of.
Greg Grays – 2026 – G – D Rice Elite
For just a freshman, Grays is a complete guard. He plays well with the ball in his hands, is a tough shot maker, can get into the paint and create, and plays with plenty of energy on the defensive end. He started the day in a big way with a 32-point game.
Xavier McKinney – 2026 – G – All Ohio Select
In his first game of the day, McKinney had one of the top performances of the tournament. He scored 36 points getting it done every way possible in a tight winning battle. He is a long and athletic guard that has such a high skill level. While just a freshman, McKinney is a player that should be on college coaches’ radars soon.
Thian Riak – 2026 – G/F – Phenom University
The game and stock of Riak continue to greatly grow. He scored a crucial 23 points in a tough comeback victory Saturday afternoon. Riak is a highly athletic 6’4” wing guard that scored it so effective going to the bucket. Highly impactful player as he is a tough and versatile defender and rebounds at a high rate.
Ross Robertson – 2025 – F – MTXE
Robertson continued his big spring today. As well to scoring 21 points, the 6’8” forward was a force on the glass on both ends. At Swish N’ Dish I saw a lot of his skills, today he was just outworking and overpowering everyone else on the floor. He continues to show he is one of the top 2025 forwards on the NY2LA Association.
