2025 6’1 CG Azavier Robinson - George Hill 17U
Azavier Robinson had another impressive weekend playing up with George Hill 17U and continues to show why he is one of the top 2025 guards in the Midwest. He plays much bigger than 6’1 with his wingspan and explosiveness, creating havoc defensively and finishing above the rim in transition. Robinson has a quick first step to get by defenders in the halfcourt and put down one of the dunks of the weekend on Sunday, rising up off of 2 feet in traffic for an emphatic and-one finish.
2025 6’5 SG Howard Keene - Team Temple 16U
Already holding an early offer from Long Beach State, Howard Keene is a prospect who may see his recruitment blow up over the next month. At 6’5, Keene was one of the top shooters in the entire event, with deep range, great shot prep, and a consistent and compact release on his shot. Keene had some good defensive moments, moves well at his size and looks to be gaining athleticism.
2025 6’6 G/F Aaron Womack - Team Haliburton 17U
Aaron Womack is one of the best long term prospects I watched in the 2025 class in Indy. Womack is a knock down shooter with efficient mechanics and great size on the perimeter at 6’6. He has improved as a driver and slasher finishing at the rim, and can cover a lot of ground with 1 to 2 dribbles. Womack doesn’t force any bad shots, knows how to play in the flow of the game, and is a willing passer. His best basketball is still ahead of him, and he is already very good playing against older competition.
2025 6’2 CG Markus Blackwell - REACH 17U
Markus Blackwell has been one of the most consistent 2025 prospects in the ny2la association and had another good weekend for REACH helping them to a 3-1 record. He is a combo guard who is wired to score, can create his own shot off the dribble and be a floor spacer/spot up shooter. Blackwell had some nice moments as a creator and does a good job of controlling pace and knowing when and where to get his shots.
2025 6’3 G/F Jeremy Jackson Jr - Team Mookie Betts 16U
Jeremy Jackson Jr is an athletic wing who can score in a variety of ways. Jackson can space the floor and knock down open jumpers, slash to the basket in the halfcourt, and is tough to stop in transition where he can finish highlight dunks and has good body control to avoid defenders at the rim. As part of a deep and talented Team Mookie 16U group, Jackson did a good job of playing his role, knowing when to attack and when to find teammates with mismatches.
2025 6’2 CG Donte Montgomery - The Work Foundation 17U
My first time seeing Donte Montgomery was on Sunday playing up with the Work Foundation 17U and came away impressed. He is a quick and shifty lead guard who can get to the basket, and make jumpers off the dribble. Montgomery has good size at 6’2, and was able to consistently break defenders down and get into the paint where he had some crafty finishes. Like many young players he needs to add strength and fine tune his mechanics but I like his upside and skillset.
2025 6’2 CG Stevie Elam - The Academy 16U
Stevie Elam was one of the top 15U guards last year in the NY2LA Association and the physical development is evident since we last saw him in July. He has grown a couple of inches and is starting to fill out his frame with added strength. Elam can get paint touches off the dribble, finish in traffic, knock down open shots and is a tenacious defender who competes on both ends of the floor.
2025 6’1 CG Tyler Haney - WI Swing 16U
Tyler Haney had another solid weekend for Wisconsin Swing, helping them to a 3-1 record in Indy. He has taken on a primary ball handling role for his team, gets them under control and into sets, and had some nice drives to the basket where he uses his strength to finish at the rim. Some of Haney’s most impressive moments came on the defensive end - chasedown blocks, playing passing lanes, harassing ball handlers - and he plays with a high energy level at all times.
2025 6’3 PG Agape Keys Jr - Team Haliburton 17U
Agape Keys is a smooth floor general with great size and a high IQ. Playing up with Team Haliburton 17U, Keys impressed with ability to play in ball screens and make reads. He is always under control, made some great passes finding shooters for open looks, and takes what the defense gives him without forcing anything. Keys has good length and instincts defensively, and is a prospect to keep eyes on in Wisconsin’s 2025 class.
2025 6’2 PG Tylan Lewis - Team Mookie Betts 16U
Tylan Lewis was another standout from Team Mookie 16u squad that went undefeated at 4-0 at session one in Indy. Lewis is a strong lead guard with good size at 6’2, and did a little bit of everything for his team over the weekend. He can play in ball screens, finish at the rim, and is unselfish setting up teammates for easy buckets. Lewis has a combination of athletic tools, skill set and IQ that should see D1 coaches reaching out in the near future.
2025 5’11 Jaiquan Holman - Predators Elite 17U
Jaiquan Holman is a lightning quick point guard who can score and facilitate. Holman has consistently played up over the last few years and continued to have success against older competition in Indy. I was impressed with his vision as he made some high level reads and can see plays developing early with good instincts. Holman uses his quickness defensively to pressure opposing guards and was able to pick up steals and get out in transition.
