Five additional players from the 16U level of the Grassroots Showcase that had themselves a big tournament.
Enoch Atewogbola – 2025 – F – Indy EBC
The sophomore is a strong 6’5” forward who plays aggressively on both ends of the floor. Atewogbola was simply outworking and outmuscling opponents to make plays. A very tough rebounder who was grabbing them in bunches on both ends. Plus, he is an effective interior defender blocking and altering shots in bunches.
Braden Freeman – 2025 – SG – MidPro Academy
There was a number of different players stepping up for MidPro including some big performances from Freeman. There are a lot of different tools to his game. As well to being 6’6” with some length and plenty of bounce, he has a versatile skill set. He greatly impressed with his improved ability to handle the ball and make plays off the dribble as well as his defensive ability, guarding multiple positions effectively.
Cohen George – 2025 – PF – Yanders Law
The game of George has continued to greatly develop over the past year for the 6’9” power forward. He moves well around the paint for his size and runs the floor hard. He really impressed with his play on both ends of the floor. George scored it effectively around the paint with good touch and strong post moves. Defensively, he can anchor paint shutting down the interior with his size and energetic play.
Ben Grabner – 2025 – C – Wisconsin Blizzard
A developing 6’9” lengthy big men who shows great upside and was impactful on both ends of the floor. He scored it consistently throughout the tournament finishing on dump offs and put backs inside. He made his biggest impact defensively playing very actively inside deterring driver and altering plenty of shots as well to being a highly aggressive rebounder.
Ben Schneider – 2025 – PG – Greater Purpose Athletics
One of the top scorers of the tournament with games of 28 and 26 points. He has such a high skill level and knows how to play. Schneider has continued to show all spring he is an incredibly tough shot maker who shot it well from the outside and mid-range all weekend.
